The Four Stages of Cold/Flu Denial

While posting the Perspective strips I came down with the cold that seems to have hit just about everyone else. That is what I get for boasting about having an iron clad immune system.

Perspective - 3 of 6

Now that my son is in Middle School, the Art Club has been moved there with him. The first club meeting my wife asked the assembled group, “So, is everyone here interested in doing some art?” The answer from one of the eight grade girls was,

Artificial Christmas

Due to childhood allergies we finally had to buckle down and purchase an artificial Christmas tree. We found a fairly nice one at our local Craft & Hobby store. While there I couldn’t help notice that the shop was filled with a whole lot of extremely grumpy looking women. I don’t know what it is about creating crafts, but I couldn’t help picturing these ladies going home to crochet little Santa booties, hot glue lace potpourri pouches, and chain smoke.
